Meet our groundbreaking Count AMID RS helmet – created in our Atomic race department for slalom racing up to World Cup level (and used by none other than Marcel Hirscher and Mikaela Shiffrin). The big deal is the combination of two innovations: AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) which absorbs and provides better protection against angled impacts and the Inverted Hybrid Construction which adds structural stability around the front and sides of the helmet (where slalom gates tend to hit the head). This awesome combination gives you up to 40% higher protection than existing CE and ASTM safety standards.
