While a different color, Rossignol ski racing boots actually share the same exact construction with Lange race boots. For 2021, Rossignol hasn’t made any changes to the construction of the race boots, however, the graphic has been updated.
For junior racers, Rossignol has a number of flexes that offer a natural progression as an athlete grows. The entry-level race boot is the Rossignol Hero 65. This boot is a great option for first-time junior racers or lightweight U10 and U12 athletes. The next step in the progression is the Rossignol Hero World Cup 70 SC. This boot has a flex rating of 70, and is designed for strong junior skiers who are under 90lbs. After the 70, comes the Rossignol Hero World Cup 90 SC, which is a similar boot with a slightly stiffer flex. All of Rossignol's junior race boots feature a shortened cuff to accommodate the shorter legs of junior racers.
For adult race boots, Rossignol’s race boots mirror the Lange Z-Series boots. The softest flexing World Cup adult race boot is the Rossignol Hero World Cup ZJ+ with a flex rating of 120. The Rossignol Hero World Cup ZA+ has a flex rating of 130. And the Rossignol Hero World Cup ZB has a flex rating of 140. All of the Rossi Z Series boots feature a narrow-fitting 92mm last for ultimate precision, a lace-up liner, and booster-type strap.
