For the ultimate in light weight all-mountain versatility and performance, look no further than the uber-popular Head Kore 93. Unchanged again for 2021, the Kore 93 is relying on its sublime reputation to carry it forward through another season. We could not be happier with that decision. They've done a fantastic job with these skis, from the shape to the build and the profile-it all lines up for that one-ski quiver type of mentality that a ton of skiers know and love. Built with a Karuba wood core, Head adds all sorts of space-age materials such as graphene, koroyd, and carbon to make the ski stiff and rugged without being too heavy. The end result is a perfect blend and balance of materials. The ski is stiff to the hand flex, but doesn't feel overly demanding on your feet, and that has a lot to do with the shape and the build. While the ski is 93 mm underfoot in the 180, it's narrower in shorter lengths (and wider in the 189). They do this to create a consistent performance regardless of length, and since there's such a wide range of sizes in this ski, we think that's a smart approach. A 93 in a 162 just doesn't quite perform the same as a 93 in a 189, hence the adjustment. We looked back at what our testers have said over the years and were able to compile a nice greatest hit list of skier feedback. Spoiler alert: it's mainly positive.
