The Volkl Blaze 94 is a back for 2022 with new graphics. Designed as a lightweight ski capable of doing anything, the Volkl Blaze 94 is sure to make a lot of people happy this year. With the popularity of alpine touring growing, Volkl is making the Blaze to remind you that you don't need to compromise downhill performance for uphill efficiency. With a hybrid multilayer wood core, the Blaze is super lightweight. But a titinal power plate under foot and a full sidewall construction give this ski incredible downhill performance -- just what you expect from a Volkl. Â
The Peak Review:
Made to go head-to-head with popular models like the Head Kore or Atomic Bent Chetler, the Blaze 94 is an incredibly exciting ski for this season. In testing, we were super impressed with the Blaze's ability to hold on hard snow inspite of its lightweight. The Blaze skis so well, we'd be happy using it to ride the lifts all day. That skiability, combined with its lightweight for uphill travel, make this a great choice. Match the Blaze with a Marker Duke PT binding and you've got yourself quite a multi-use setup.
