Overview:
The 2021 Head World Cup Rebels e-GS non-FIS race ski is all new for this season. This ski features the same construction as Head's 2021 FIS GS race ski, but it comes in shorter sizes and with a tighter radius. The shorter turning radius allows this giant slalom ski to make tighter turns. The ski also features Head's Energy Management Circuit (EMC) which helps dampen vibrations throughout the turn and at high speeds.
Who is this ski made for?
This ski is for high-level athletes who need a strong ski but do not require a FIS-legal one. Current USSA requirements do not set a minimum ski length for giant slalom, but all athletes U-14 and above must utilize a ski with a greater than 17 meter radius. Therefore, every length in this model is legal for USSA competition.
Radius & Dimensions:
176cm: 23 meter radius (102 / 65 / 87)
181cm: 25 meter radius (102 / 65 / 86)
186cm: 25 meter radius (104 / 65 / 87)
Manufacturer Factory Setup:
Head race skis do not come from the manufacturer fully prepared for racing. These skis come from the factory with inconsistent base and side edge angles; with sidewall that needs to be removed; and without any waxing treatment.
