Year in and year out, the Rossignol Hero World Cup 70 SC is one of the best junior race boots on the marker. With a narrow last and a shorter cuff design athletes, this boot is designed from the ground up for junior feet. Make no mistake about it: This is a real race boot. In our opinion, this boot offers one of the best out-of-the-box fits for junior athletes. Rossignol is one of the few companies to make a true race boot in the 21.5 size. Aside from graphics, the boot is unchanged from the 2019/2020 Rossignol Hero 70. This boot also shares the same construction with the 2021 Lange Hero 70 SC Junior Race Boot.
Who is this boot made for?
This boot is ideal for elite U12- to U14 racers. The Rossignol Hero 70 SC is the first real race boot for junior racers, and provides a great introduction to a true race boot for junior athletes.

What is a boot lift?
Many racers utilize boot lifts, which are thin plastic plates that are installed on the sole of a race boot. Primarily, this gives an athlete slightly more height off the snow, allowing them to create higher edge angles. Boot lifts also help protect the boot sole, and can be replaced as they wear over time.
What size lift do I need?
We suggest that younger athletes start with 3mm of lift in order to get accustomed to boot lifts. For older or elite athletes, we suggest 5mm of lift.
How are boot lifts installed?
Boots lifts are mounted to the bottom of the boot sole with small screws. Then the toe and heel of the boot need to be routered so they will fit properly into a race binding and meet industry safety standards. The video below shows the process of installing boot lifts.
