Elite Race Ski Prep is our advanced race ski preparation. At Peak Ski Shop, it is used for adult and junior race skis where we are changing the base angle and installing an event specific race grind. To ensure the highest quality race tuning we use the Wintersteiger Mercury ski tuning machine.

Elite Race Ski Prep from Peak Ski Shop includes:

Removal of the sidewall
Grind and flatten base
Install event specific race structure
Setting the base angle to (your choice) either .5 or .7 degrees
Setting the side edge to race specs (3 degrees)
Polishing all edges
Applying and brushing Swix F4 hot wax

Once the Elite Race Ski Prep is done by Peak Performance Ski Shop, the skis will be all set to ski and race.
