Premium Race Ski Prep is our basic race ski preparation using our Wintersteiger Mercury ski tuning machine. At Peak Ski Shop, it is used for most junior race skis and some adult skis where changing the base angle from the factory setting is not needed.

Premium Race Ski Prep from Peak Ski Shop includes:

Removal of the sidewall
Setting the side edge to race specs
Checking factory base bevels and touching up if necessary
Applying and brushing Swix F4 hot wax

Once the Premium Race Ski Prep is done by Peak Performance Ski Shop, the skis will be all set to ski.
